Palisade Falls Walk

This morning we decided to drive about 50 miles west to Bozeman then south into the Gallatin Mountains to take a little hike and see Palisade Falls….

It is a pretty easy walk about 3/4 mile up to the falls on a paved trail…found a place to put the camera on a tree stump here and use the timer….

Here we got the first glimpse thru the trees….

A couple other hikers came along and took one for us…..

The falls is very pretty ….it was a nice hike and worth the drive ….

We came back to our camp site afterward and watched US Open Tennis…..tomorrow we’re driving to Red Lodge, Montana ….staying at Perry’s RV Park and Campground….we were promised a site on the river that flows by the campground….we have never been to Red Lodge but some of the people at the wedding told us they love it…it is the gateway to the Beartooth All-American Road ….a very special highway with spectacular views running west into the high Rocky Mountains…..
